Field Notes

Description:

Small sparrow looking similar to the Song Sparrow. Mostly brown with streaking on back, wings and chest. Light color on belly. Buffy colored mustache, grey lines over the eyes and dark thin line behind the eye. Two rusty brown strips on crowned with grey streak in the middle.

Habitat:

Spotted in fennel near a marsh
