Description:
Golden brown on top like a perfectly cooked turkey. Light golden going down the sides and stalk is cream colored. It is roughly 3-5 cm tall.
Habitat:
Grassy area around several different types of trees. The stump it was on is an old plum tree.
Notes:
Grouped together on a decaying tree stump. I have seen this same kind of mushroom on two different tree stumps about 30 meters from each other. Very tightly packed cluster. After placing them on a plate there were no spores that I could find. Would like to know what it is.
