Description:

"A small to medium-sized ambush hunter on foliage, waiting with outstretched arms for insects and other arthropods to come wthin range. It has a longer, narrower abdomen than many other similar Arkys species." - Arachne.org.au

Habitat:

Sightseeing from the tip of an Acacia leaf in a nature reserve with mostly medium to tall eucalyptus.

Synonyms - Arkys clavatus Keyserling, 1890; Arkys nitidiceps Simon, 1908 <br> Found throughout mainland Australia's east coast and hinterland, mostly in the southern states. <br>
