Field Notes

Description:

Left-right diameter of the coil was about 12mm. Brown base colour, with a dark line running down the centre of the body; each body segment has an incomplete red and yellow band.

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario', a national park in semi-arid area just outside the city. The rainy season is now in full swing and many animals are venturing out.
