This is a Melanistic Variation of the Eastern Gray Squirrel.. " Melanism " is a genetic variation of pigmentation ...While this Seems Un- Common its really Quite common in the Population in Battle Creek Michigan USA. Many Regions of the U.S.A. Have these Melanistic Eastern Gray Squirrels.
