Description:

Very tall trees with surprisingly small, spherical cones.

Habitat:

Near the trail past Pierce Point Ranch at Tomales Point at Point Reyes National Seashore

Notes:

The native range of this species was confined to two small locations, but has been widely planted elsewhere on the California and Oregon coasts.
