There are three species in SA: Damon variegatus, Damon annulatipes, and Phrynichodamon scullyi. Pretty certain it's not Phrynichodamon but I can't really tell D. variegatus and D. annulatipes apart from a picture.
Whip Spider or Tailless Whip Scorpion, Amblypygi. Despite the terrifying view and size, they are harmless. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amblypygi http://www.biodiversityexplorer.org/arachnids/amblypygids/
