Field Notes

Description:

Orange-red forewings, with dark spots, grey hindwings with red on outside edge. Underside is grey with a wavy red-orange submargin.

Habitat:

Found sunbathing or scouting on a American Beautyberry (Callicarpa dichotoma f. albifructa 'Duet') shrub in my flower bed of my home.
