Description:

This squirrel is much darker than most Variegated squirrels (Sciurus variegatoides) I have seen, but it I know there is a lot of color variation in that species. (Compare to http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/51956006) Or is this a different squirrel species?

Habitat:

Grounds of Sueño Azul Hotel, Sarapiqui, Costa Rica.
