Porch light in suburban area

Notes:

This large moth (not as big as a sphinx) was flying around my porch light and did a lot of "shaking".

Thank you very much! It's very difficult to make an ID on a moth like this one and I appreciate the time spent on it.
Although very similar to many other Noctuid moths, a distinguishing feature are the hash marks on the outside edge of the forewing. The first four and last two are in pairs.
