Field Notes

Description:

With widely variant patterns(some with splotches of blue or red, instead of black, rust or brown), the N Pacific Treefrog is common from the far N coast of California and into S Alaska. When they congregate in large numbers their "chorus" can be deafening

Habitat:

Garden

Notes:

adding a small water feature increased the number of resident tree frog in my garden by quite a few. They normally confine themselves to large groupings in the seasonal ponds of the lowlands near my home
