Description:

The pilot black rat snake, also known as the the texas rat snake, western rat snake, black rat snake, or black snake, is completely covered in black scales, with a white underbelly. The underbelly has occasional white stripes running across it. This one was 5 or 6 feet long

Habitat:

Spotted in Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA on the annual regal fritillary butterfly walk. Late in posting, sorry ;)
