Field Notes

Description:

Some 12 mm long shield bug, greenish-brown all over, and white underneath. Yellow tip on scutellum, and yellow-black antennae.

Habitat:

Widespread in Europe, prefers shadowy, war and moist environment. Here, found in a beautiful Bagasse forest (deciduous, predominantly oak, forest - photo 5) on France-Switzerland border, in a valley of lake Geneva, just in between Jura and Alps mountains ranges. Found on nettles, while collecting them.
