Field Notes

Description:

Resembles Liocoris tripustulatus in that the bright marking on the dorsal aspect resembles a heart, but Liocoris tripustulatus doesn't seem to have been reported in Korea so far as I can tell.

Habitat:

This one and a couple of others I saw seemed to prefer daisies.

@ hernandezwolf99: Yeah, that's what caught my eye. A love bug! ;) @ bayucca: http://cleopatra.girlfriend.jp/325/ is a Japanese page, so I think you've found it. Now if I could only figure out the genus/specie. Thanks for your input!
Liocoris tripustulatus is a Miridae, a plant bug. Yours is Pentatomoidea, although I am tending to Pentatomidae, I am not 100% sure if it is really this family, could also be Acanthosomatidae (or other?). Probably not Scutelleridae. This is the same as yours: http://cleopatra.girlfriend.jp/325/ This not, but similar: https://www.flickr.com/photos/itchydogimages/11398907095/
