Description:

Upright plant with a thin stem. Whorls of lanceolate leaves. Flowers produced on small stems from stem near the leaf bases. Star shaped will be yellow with red at the base when they bloom. Native wildflower.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Blydenburgh County Park, NY
