Field Notes

Description:

Largest cap was approximately 3 cm. Spore print was white.

Habitat:

Found upside down in the oak grove in Mulick Park after a big storm. I don't know where it was originally growing.

Notes:

At first I thought they were golden trumpets (Xeromphalina kaufmanii) but the gills are not attached to the stem.
