Field Notes

Description:

This jumping spider allowed me just one picture, before disappearing. I have often noted that Jumpers are usually imperturbable except when they have prey in their grasp. So, I ended up without much prospect of an immediate identification, but will keep looking. The same applies to the prey. I can't be sure of anything in this spotting at this moment, but I often spend a lot of time searching with no result and then, a day or two later, I stumble on the identification when I am looking for something else.

Habitat:

This Jumping Spider was spotted on a bamboo branch in the backyard of the rice mill.
