Field Notes

Description:

This species is very common to Texas.The lizard is not a full grown due to the size of the lizard.The lizard was about 4.5 inches from head to tail.It is distinct from other anole species by the teal blue eyes that it has.The ankles can change colors when threatened, this one had 2 colors, I might have scared it a little.

Habitat:

Bushes,trunks of trees and building walls.

Notes:

Mid-adult stage.
