Field Notes

Description:

A tiny hispid pocket mouse caught in the rain. He was kinda defensive actually. I'm not really too much of an expert on these guys the thing that convinces me this is the hispid pocket mouse is because its range is the only one that matches and the black fur overlay.

Habitat:

Native to the Eastern US.
