Description:

Black lizard with white and yellow spots, about 5 inches long.

Habitat:

Lives at a sweet wizard tower/rock sculpture garden in the high rocky Sonora desert hills.

Western fence lizard is a common name. This is just one of many in California.
I realize that, but it's also a colloquial name.
Yes they have blue bellies but that's not what they are called. Fence lizards and there are many species.
Just a regular little blue belly then... I thought it was something more rare.
Either a dark female or a dark juvenile
Looked at the California Herps and can't seem to find a match. Photo if sharper I might. This the site if you can spot it. http://www.californiaherps.com/lizards/lizardspics.html
