Description:

Viceroy butterfly larva, fourth instar.

Habitat:

Willow tree next to a large pond, rural deciduous area, Clermont County

Notes:

I took this little one inside to raise to adulthood in my mesh butterfly cage. It just pupated today, so I'll update with new pictures soon! :)
