Field Notes

Description:

Brown back, white belly, black head/neck, and thick orange bill.

Habitat:

On the beach near some least tern nests, and it kept being dive-bombed by the adult terns. Was pretty funny to watch, he was running all over the place. Finally got far enough away from the tern babies for the adults to leave him alone.
