Yes, I was looking at web sites but I have trouble finding pages with flora more specific from that area of CR. It looks like a type of Cavendishia indeed.
Con mucho gusto, but, please, verify as usual ;-)
Should be a Cavendishia sp., but I am not sure which one. Bracteata? Callista? Other one? I slightly would tend to Cavendishia callista. http://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Cavendishia_callista_1.jpg http://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/boga/html/Cavendishia_callista_Foto3.html https://www.flickr.com/photos/95287005@N05/8689760046/ http://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Cavendishia_callista_2.jpg http://www.plantdatabase.co.uk/Cavendishia_bracteata http://www.pinterest.com/pin/159666749260744220/ http://darnis.inbio.ac.cr/ubis/FMPro?-DB=ubipub.fp3&-lay=WebAll&-error=norec.html&-Format=detail.html&-Op=eq&id=1853&-Find
