Description:

Small green bee on a thistle.

Habitat:

Tall Grass prairie

Notes:

I have been able to narrow it down to the sweat bee family (Halictidae), Subfamily Halictinae. Seems to be in the Agapostemon genus. I don't have a great picture of this bee, so it is difficult to figure out which species it is.
