Description:

Early this morning I watched a juvenile Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus ) trying to steal a fish from an osprey. Unfortunately the light was such that I only captured the silhouettes of the birds against the clouds, but it was such a thrilling chase to watch. I'm happy to say that the osprey managed to escape with it's fish.
