Carolina Praying Mantis

The Carolina Praying Mantis is a common species. They are most common in, North Carolina and South Carolina, it is also found in Mexico and South America.The male and female look very different, for example a female can grow to 5 or 6 centimeters, it has short wings, is big and heavy, and can not fly. The males have long wings, is small and light, active, can grow to 4 or 5 centimeters, and can fly. Usually, both females and males have green, grey, or brown bodies, are narrow at the thorax, the antennas are thin, and have bulbous eyes.
