Spanish slug
Arion vulgaris
48.2084, 16.3725
Field Notes
Description:
Size: 12cm
The colour of this species can vary from a bright orange to a dark brown.
It's a very wide-spread species; in a central-European garden there are roughly 12 of these slugs per m².
Habitat:
Garden
Notes:
I actually don't like these slugs because they are a real pest. Of course, they've got a beautiful colour but they don't belong to Central-Europe. Otherwise, they serve as feed for hedgehogs and leopard slugs.
