Field Notes

Description:

A tiny (see last photo) white pleated-cap mushroom. It somewhat resembles Parasola sp., but I'm not sure about it occurring in this range.

Habitat:

Growing in village yard (mowed grass) near a disturbed band of coastal freshwater swamp/sago swamp forest in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.

Thanks Mark! You already found the other spotting (copied to notes).
Superb, tiny beauty. Was this a first find or were they common?
