Description:
Very small jumping spider. Brownish (almost purple) with a metallic sheen and reddish face and legs. Dark stripes running the length of the legs. Pale crescent (basal band) at front edge of abdomen. Bright yellow pedipalps. This spider waves the front legs around a lot. Probably to mimic wasp or ant antennae.
Habitat:
Suburban yard.
Notes:
This has been a great year for me finding new species of Jumping Spiders!
