Description:

Small shell maybe a centimeter long. The colors are like a gradient it goes from light to dark brown. The mussel lives in the water. The elliptio lives in fresh waters and eats food like algae and microbes. Some of elliptio predators are raccoons, otters, some birds etc.

Habitat:

Watkinson School River or The Park River
