Field Notes

Description:

Tops are about 3 cm in diameter. Height is 5-7 cm. The top of the mushroom is not smooth, but has small structures that protrude upward almost hairlike.

Habitat:

Grassy area around multiple trees. Several different types of mushrooms in the same area. Growing on an old decaying tree stump.

Notes:

These were only found on or within the stump. There were other mushrooms around, but this one was not outside of the stump.
