Thank so much, Marta RubioTexeira. It fluff itself really good, then started preening for a long time (I love that part also)then stretch until it looked very slim and graceful and the very loud calling started.

WOW!! You were right they do look alike from the back... The sound of the Laughing kookaburra really sounds like laughter more than the Laughing Falcon?!

I love all these pictures but the second one is my favorite because I love when they preen their tail feathers. Is a beautiful falcon. Thanks for sharing!

I wonder if it is named after the Laughing Kookaburra, as it looks very similar from the back.
