Species ID Suggestions

No problem! These guys can be a pain to ID to species, especially since you are in range for all 3 of them :)
This is either a Five-lined Skink, Southeastern Five-lined Skink, or Broadhead Skink. All have blue tails as juveniles and can only be told apart by counting the number of scales on the upper lip and examining the scales on the under side of the tail. Either way, the genus for all 3 is Plestiodon. http://www.virginiaherpetologicalsociety.com/reptiles/lizards/lizards_of_virginia.htm
