Description:

This picture is of a brown praying mantis that was found in my backyard. The picture of the insect does not give much detail, but the praying mantis had a light colored brown, but in the picture the shade makes it look darker than it was. Just to state the obvious, the insect had 4 back legs and 2 arms, and it also had two antennas on its head. This praying mantis also did include a unique pattern which consisted of opposite stripes of light and dark brown.

Habitat:

Backyard, located on a plum tree.
