Field Notes

Description:

Male mantid with blue on the tip of the nose. I received an ID from Bug Guide saying this was S. limbata.

Habitat:

Backyard at night

Notes:

There might be dark stripes on the abdomen which would make this S. californica but if not, then it's S. limbata.
