Description:

Gray and golden with brown diamond pattern outlined in white on back. Large spade shaped head. About 18 - 20"

Habitat:

Crossing a paved bike path and easing back into a forest area in northwest Florida panhandle.

I've seen a couple around here in Blackwater state forest, but I haven't been able to get a picture. Great job on the picture, thanks for sharing

In this case the scientific name is Crotalus adamanteus.
