Field Notes

Habitat:

Nests in tundra near shorelines or river systems. Migration/winter open flat areas such as agricultural fields, beaches or coastal mudflats.

Notes:

There were 4 of these little ones running around pecking at things in the damp sand. Nonbreeding adult color.
