Description:

I see this plant often in this type of dry, sandy forest environment. The buckeye butterflies, rattlebox moths, wasps, and bees loved the flowers. Also found on this plant was this moth http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/467836002

Habitat:

Pine and oak forest, dry and sandy soil at Withlacoochee State Forest Citrus Tract
