Habitat:

Mountains of Alyeska near glacier. I don't recall which type of tree this was :(

Hi António, I'm so bad at fungi. Since I don't even recall the tree it was on, I hate to even guess. You may be right. Perhaps someone else with fungi knowledge can compare ours. Thank you for the suggestion!
Nice spotting Cindy, i think ,but i dont haved 100% sure,that is a Cinnabar Polypore Pycnoporus cinnabarinus,but a old one ,the velvet margin is what make me think this,you have here the link of one that i spotted recently,so you can compared http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/44453011
