Field Notes

Description:

Green back with a gray belly. The male (first 4 photos) has a gorget that looks dark unless the sun hits it right, then it shines bright red. The female (last 2 photos) just has a white neck.

Habitat:

Oak forest with creeks nearby at Gus Engeling WMA.
