Description:
Small bird, travels in large flocks, very vocal! Called waxwing because of the red tips on its wings. Resembling the red wax used years ago to seal envelopes.
Habitat:
Trees, wooded areas. This was middled East coast of U.S. On Eastern Shore of Virginia. Atlantic migratory path.
