Lacewing larva

Lacewing (Chrysopidae) larvae are carnivorous, feeding on soft bodied insects, like aphids. They usually cover themselves with the remains of its victims or other debris as a form of camouflage to protect them from predators. This one is covered with some kind of fungus or moss.
