Dark brown legs with lighter brown body.

Habitat:

Found on the road at dusk in Palo Duro Canyon SP

Me too considering the males only live 5-6 years and the females live 30+ years haha. He is on a mission!

Yep! When it's warm out, every time I go to the nearby state park I see several of these guys while crossing the road. I always get out and try to get them off the road. Most of them get in threat posses and throw hairs at me, but this guy just kept getting into a ball when I would touch him. So I just picked him up and moved him off the road lol
what was this guy doing? strolling around?
I finally saw the Tarantulas of Mt Diablo. Took me 2 hrs to find this one. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/43087029 Due to the recent fires,the ranger told me that they were seeing 5/day instead of the usual 18/day.
