Yellow Warbler
Dendroica petechia
34.0967, -117.72
Field Notes
Habitat:
Oak Woodland
Notes:
This is the only all yellow warbler. Warblers are hard to photograph because of their fast movement and because of their tendency to skulk in thick vegetation and in treetops. This one was eating insects in a Coast Live Oak. What is interesting is the area I found it in was not near water.
