Brown-headed Cowbird

This bird parasitizes other birds by laying its eggs in their nests. When the hatchlings grow, they overpower and outgrow their nest mates which soon die of malnourishment. This is detrimental to many songbirds throughout North America. The individual on the left is a male and on the right, a female.
