Description:

Past it's prime, but still a colorful and interesting mushroom. The pileus was orange and wrinkled, and was most likely about 5-6cm wide before becoming so shriveled. The gills were wavy, crowded, and attached to the stipe. The stipe, which was completely split, was approximately 8cm long and had some white basal mycelium.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground in the leaf litter in a mixed forest that was dominated by oak.
