Description:

I've never seen a robin in January before

Habitat:

An unfrozen spring at Goldbar park in Edmonton - it's about -5C today

Notes:

Saw a big flock of cedar waxwings and a few robins

Does anybody know if it's common for some robins not to migrate South? Or is it unusual? There were 3-5 robins (might be younger birds) hanging with a flock of Bohemian Waxwings.
