Description:

La umbrela, la parte más amplia de su cuerpo, es de color azul violáceo, con una banda de color violeta en el borde. Posee ocho tentáculos' compuestos por numerosos lóbulos pequeños, apéndices sensoriales y células urticantes.

Notes:

Las células urticantes provocan un picor leve al mantener contacto con los brazos de la medusa; la zona afectada por la picadura no debe tocarse.
