Field Notes

Description:

Grasshopper-like insect nymph found on Weigela bushes next to our home. Approximately an inch in length, with wide, colorful body. Greens, brown, yellow, purple on the abdomen and spotted legs. No wings to be seen.

Habitat:

Backyard, rural.

You're welcome. It's definitely more colorful than the other. That was the closest I could find, shape-wise. It's a pretty cool little bug.
