Field Notes

Description:

Small, dark fly with giant red eyes. Wings mostly translucent with two dark spots on each wing. Sorry about the quality of the image. Fortunately, identifying marks are still visible in the picture.

Habitat:

Suburban yard. Attracted to a black light at night.
